I painted Kore as a donation for the grad club art auction. Snake is a little painting on a scrap of canvas. Both are precursors to bigger artworks that came after. They were made during a time where I was experimenting with different materials and techniques, and contemplating concepts such as the influence of Greek mythology on Modernity/perceptions of the feminine, internalised mysoginy, and feminine symbolism.
