SLAYRMOON TOE CAPS

These hand made toe caps are protective and decorative accessories designed for roller skates. Before I developed the design for these toe caps the only toe cap shapes available for sale in the market were simple straight lined shapes, with the only variety reliant on different premade vinl colours. I developed this new signature shape with a paper model, that allowed the design of a net, finalised in illustrator. This was then cut out with a cutting machine from thick vinyl. Three custom cut vinyl stickers were also designed and cut, and are applied in layers by hand. The toe caps are then sewed together to reach their final shape. The swing tag keychains are made from scrap material left over from the production process. These toe caps are sold on my website at slayrmoon.com and at market stalls held at skate events and gatherings.
