REPAIR MANUAL ZINE

This zine was created in response to an assignment brief in my final year of my Bachelor in Design. We were tasked to identify a culture of repair, research it and design a repair manual based on that culture. The final repair manual is a zine titled ‘space invasion: a piece of cake’. It follows the process of ‘baking a zine’, seemingly detailing the process of making a zine, yet revealing that which a zine makes: embodied community between the actors at play, voice to the marginalised, & a recoding of value in respect to materiality. This zine was published in a book: Fanzine Grrrls by Monsa Publishing. A publishing house based in Spain.
